You know that your home feels like the best environment to give birth to your baby.

But you're worried about handling the pain of labour and birth, it feels so overwhelming and you're starting to doubt yourself.

I can relate!

After I experienced a home birth transfer AND a freebirth, I'm sharing the techniques with you that REALLY made a difference to my pain (and the ones the didn't!).

Through this course you will learn:

How preparing for your birth like it's 'just a normal day' can change everything.
That the goal for a homebirth isn't a 'pain free' birth.
What to do when labour get's really tough.
A deeper understanding of gas & air risks.
Techniques your partner can use to help support your labour.

Breathing my baby out to relaxing music just didn't work for me...

I'm not going to tell you to visualise your contractions as waves on the ocean, gently floating away. (I NEVER found that helpful).

I'm not going to tell you that the goal is a 'pain free birth'. (That was such a misleading approach for me when labour felt tough).

I am going to share with you practical and effective techniques that I've personally used. (I know these techniques are beneficial and I wish I knew them the first time around!)

I am going to give you simple and straightforward ways that you AND your partner can do to boost your labour at home. This course isn't complicated, it's just full of really bloody useful information to know if you're planning a home birth.

Meet your course guide, Victoria.

I'm Victoria, a freebirth and homebirth mentor, artist, wife and mother to a little boy and a girl.

When I freebirthed my second baby it changed my life, my relationship and set me up in an entirely new way for motherhood again.

Giving birth at home felt primal and amazing, but it also felt like just another normal day which I LOVED.

I now help women and couples all over the world to prepare for the birth they want, in a way that feels totally aligned with who they are. I support many couples who choose a normal (almost boring feeling!) freebirth, which inspired the creation of the podcast I co-host, 'Normal Boring Freebirth for Normal Boring People'. I also host warm and supportive online women's circles, creating a safe space for those in pre-conception, pregnancy, and postpartum stages.

FAQ

  • I'm not 100% sure I'll have a homebirth, will this course still apply to me?

Yes! These techniques can really be used in any environment, but they will be more effective in your home, I explain why in the course.

  • I'm planning a freebirth, is this course more for people who have a midwife with them?

This course is ideal for those preparing to freebirth. There's actually little to no mention of midwife support, other than information about gas & air. I created this course with freebirthers very much in mind.

  • I'm not giving birth in the UK, will this course still help me?

Absolutely! This course is available worldwide. I support women and couple form all over the world, this course isn't UK specific.

  • Will this course be useful for my partner to?

I encourage partners to watch this course too, the more they know what techniques you would like to use, the better prepared they will be too. It would be a great idea to watch together.
